Van Rental Dubai Without Driver

Compare self-drive passenger vans in Dubai for a family outing, business journey, team movement or longer stay. Explore Toyota Hiace, Nissan Urvan, Hyundai Staria, Kia Carnival and Mercedes-Benz V-Class sizes, with actual luggage dimensions, seat configurations and day-to-month cost guides.

Self-drive vehicle hire and our chauffeur-operated group transportation are different services. A driving licence must cover the exact vehicle class; commercial passenger operations may also require permits and the correct insurance. Self-drive availability and your vehicle handover are subject to approval.

Van Rental Dubai Without Driver: Passenger Layout and Model Options

There are two practical van groups: seven-to-nine-seat family MPVs such as Carnival, Staria and V-Class, and larger 12–13-seat passenger vans such as Hiace and Urvan. The published 2025 and 2026 model examples show different seat layouts, transmissions and licence requirements. Count driver seating as well as passengers before choosing: a vehicle advertised with 13 seats may have 12 passenger seats plus the driver.

5vehicle-size comparisons

Confirm the actual model and year

The technical guides below use published 2025–2026 passenger-model or real rental-market examples: 2026 Toyota Hiace 13-seat class, 2026 Nissan Urvan 13-seat high roof, 2025–2026 Hyundai Staria 9/11 seats, 2025–2026 Kia Carnival 8 seats and 2023–2026 V-Class 6–8 seats. These are documented model or market years—not a claim about the registration year of an Aseel vehicle. The handover agreement, registration and insurance must identify the exact supplied unit.

02 / STAFF, HOTEL AND PRIVATE GROUP APPLICATIONS

Fleet Suitability: Staff, Hotels and Private Groups

A driver-free passenger van can fit a family, visiting business team or internal journey where the named driver holds the correct licence and insurance permission. For employee pickup services and hotel guest transfers supplied as a business transport operation, the regulatory and insurance position is different from private vehicle hire. We can also arrange operated passenger vans with a professional driver through the main van fleet.

Number of passenger seats and luggage space

Eight people with eight checked cases measuring 70 × 45 × 28 cm require 706 L of geometric suitcase volume and 160 kg of checked baggage at 20 kg each. The 8-seat Carnival has a published 627 L cargo figure with the third row raised, so eight large cases should not be promised to fit behind all seats; reduce occupants or choose a larger van/approved baggage vehicle. A 9-seat Staria model lists up to 1,303 L depending on seat position; the eleven-seat layout retains significantly less room behind the last row.

01

Family trips and guest visits

Use a 7–8-seat Kia Carnival or Mercedes V-Class for small parties. Two sliding side doors, proper rear air conditioning and secure boot space make hotels, appointments and visiting relatives easier.

Explore passenger vans ↗
02

Business travellers and smaller delegations

A 9-seat Hyundai Staria offers a three-row option; passenger luggage, airport dates and the number of drivers determine whether a larger body or chauffeured plan makes more sense.

Staria and similar vans ↗
03

Employee and project travel

Toyota Hiace and Nissan Urvan passenger bodies are designed for larger groups, but their registration category, driver qualification and company insurance must support the trip.

Staff route options ↗
04

Hotel guest transfers and event shuttles

Choose a chauffeur-operated van if you need repeated guest collections, airport waiting, two-shift work or commercial passenger service; one self-drive hire is not a substitute for a licensed shuttle service.

03 / PASSENGER CABIN AND PRACTICAL CASE COUNTS

Comfort, AC and Luggage Requirements

Kia Carnival eight-seat specifications publish 627 L behind the third row, an eight-seat 2+3+3 layout and three-zone family cabin equipment in documented trims. Hyundai UAE publishes a 9-seat Staria 3.5L petrol automatic with a 1,303 L cargo-area specification; this is a particular configuration and seat position, not 1,303 L guaranteed behind all 11 Staria seats. Toyota Hiace 2026 and Nissan Urvan high-roof passenger models use commercial fabric seating and larger cabins, while Mercedes V-Class Long has a 1,030 L manufacturer luggage reference. Brakes and entertainment are detailed by specific model below.

Alternative buses if model unavailable

A small backpack 35 × 25 × 15 cm uses 13.1 L; ten bags are 131 L and weigh 30 kg at 3 kg each. A cabin case 55 × 35 × 23 cm uses 44.3 L; six use 266 L and weigh 48 kg at 8 kg each. A large checked case 70 × 45 × 28 cm uses 88.2 L; six use 529 L and weigh 120 kg at 20 kg each, and eight use 706 L and weigh 160 kg. These are packing-space calculations; gaps, case shape, approved payload and seat positioning reduce actual fit. Luggage stays inside the approved hold; do not tie cases to a roof without vehicle-rated racks, permitted loading and insurance approval.

The table shows our homepage OPERATED-VEHICLE prices, not self-drive tariffs. Self-drive examples immediately below are current public Dubai-market benchmarks, not guaranteed Aseel offers. A self-drive price normally excludes driver, fuel, Salik, parking, fines, refundable deposit and mileage excess; inspect the particular insurance/VAT terms before signing. A seven-day or twelve-month multiplication is a transparent budget calculation unless stated as a published package.

Toyota Hiace 13-seater — without driver

Public 2026 13-seat commercial self-drive benchmark: AED 3,800/month for 4,500 km in one listing. For short-term budgeting use approximately AED 250–320/day; 7 days at the day guide are AED 1,750–2,240; 12 months at AED 3,800 are AED 45,600. Monthly rates do not include a chauffeur or fuel.

Nissan Urvan 13-seat — without driver

Self-drive example AED 200–320/day; actual weekly listings around AED 1,150–2,106; monthly examples AED 3,180–3,800; twelve months at those monthly rates are AED 38,160–45,600. A 2026 Nissan Urvan 13-seat 2.5L example is listed at AED 3,800/month with 4,500 km. Driver and fuel excluded.

Hyundai Staria 9/11-seat — without driver

Recent 2025–2026 self-drive examples: AED 299–450/day, AED 2,093–3,150 for 7 days at the day range, and AED 4,990–7,499/month. Twelve monthly periods calculate to AED 59,880–89,988. The advertised 2025 9-seat example is AED 330/day and AED 4,990/month.

Kia Carnival 7/8-seat — without driver

Public 2025–2026 Carnival offers: AED 275–350/day, published weekly offers AED 1,650–2,450, and monthly AED 4,700–5,999. Twelve months at the monthly figures calculate to AED 56,400–71,988. These are vehicle-only rents; pay fuel and tolls separately.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class — without driver

Recent V-Class listings: AED 451–1,320/day, calculated 7-day amount AED 3,157–9,240, and monthly examples from AED 10,350 up to AED 19,500. Twelve monthly periods imply AED 124,200–234,000. Executive trims and model years have very different rates and deposits.

With driver — Hiace / Urvan

Our published operated Hiace and Nissan Urvan categories each show AED 480–720/day and AED 6,000–9,200/month. Six driver-operated daily hires total AED 2,880–4,320; twelve equivalent months are AED 72,000–110,400. Route, hours and fuel terms control a written chauffeur quote.

With driver — Staria / Carnival

Our homepage operated Staria shows AED 520–720/day and AED 6,000–9,200/month; Carnival shows AED 520–680/day and AED 6,000–8,800/month. Unlike self-drive, a professional driver is provided, with fuel and parking inclusions stated in the quote.

With fuel versus without fuel

Standard self-drive: collect the vehicle at its agreed fuel level and return it to the same level, paying your own fuel, Salik and parking. A prepaid fuel package can be priced separately if permitted by the rental provider. Driver-operated transport may be quoted with company-paid fuel or with client-paid fuel.

7-day versus 6-day, and 12-month comparisons

Daily rates are not monthly rates divided by 30. When you need six separate rental days, multiply the quoted daily rate by 6 before comparing a discounted week; for long-term hires compare a complete 12-month lease price against 12 individual monthly agreements, including mileage and insurance.

Insurance, deposit, mileage and VAT

Published marketplace examples commonly include basic insurance but set mileage limits such as 250 km/day or 4,500–6,000 km/month. Deposits, collision-damage excess, additional drivers, tyres, fines, excess kilometres and 5% VAT are handled under the actual rental agreement. No universal zero-deposit policy applies.

05 / DRIVER ELIGIBILITY, SAFETY AND SERVICE

Driver and Maintenance Arrangements

A passenger van without driver is not an unrestricted staff-bus rental. The registration class, permitted seating capacity, renter identity, individual driver licence, correct insurance and use of the vehicle must match. UAE residents ordinarily use an accepted UAE licence; eligible visitors may use recognised home-country licences or international permits for light vehicles, subject to nationality, visa status and rental insurance. Commercial shuttle operations require appropriate authorisation. For contracted groups we also offer vans with a professional driver.

TOYOTA UAE • 2026 13-SEAT REFERENCE

Toyota Hiace Commuter — 13-seat passenger body

Commercial passenger-van option for teams and groups needing high roof and durable row seating; must be driven under the correct registered licence class.

Seating, body and year
Toyota UAE currently advertises a 2026 Hiace 13-seat passenger variant. Check whether the assigned vehicle counts the driver in its seat total; a cargo 3-seat Hiace is not a 13-seat passenger van.
Engine and gearboxes
The 2026 UAE model family includes 2.7 L petrol, 2.8 L diesel and 3.5 L petrol engines; manual gearboxes differ by variant. Do not apply the 3.5 L panel-van radio specification to every commuter body.
Passenger cabin
High-roof passenger van configuration with front and rear A/C for the passenger grade, practical forward-facing fabric passenger rows, seatbelts and a side boarding entrance.
Baggage counts and case sizes
For 9–10 travellers, plan around 2–3 large 70 × 45 × 28 cm cases (176–265 L; 40–60 kg at 20 kg each) plus two 55 × 35 × 23 cm cabin cases (89 L; 16 kg). Full 12-person occupancy with 12 large suitcases requires 1,058 L and 240 kg before loading clearances.
Brakes and stability
Commercial Hiace braking/ABS and any vehicle stability equipment must match the specific passenger grade and registration; do not substitute panel-van or another model-year safety claims.
USB, audio and roof storage
A 2026 3.5 L Hiace panel variant is listed with an 8-inch display and CarPlay, but this is not proof for the 13-seat passenger body. Rooftop luggage is not included in the packing figures.
Self-drive market price
A public 2026 13-seat Hiace self-drive example lists AED 3,800/month; the published listing does not give a daily rate.

Nissan NV350 Urvan — 13-seat high-roof wide long body

A wide-body 13-seat Urvan built for transporting colleagues or private groups; compare the registered passenger seats and licence endorsement before collecting keys.

Model year, seats and outside dimensions
2026 market examples exist. Nissan Dubai 13-seat wide-long passenger grade: 5,230 mm length × 1,880 mm width × 2,285 mm height; 2,940 mm wheelbase.
Engine and fuel tank
2.5 L petrol engine, rated 147 hp and 213 Nm on the Nissan Dubai family specification; 65 L fuel tank. Transmission depends on grade.
Cabin equipment
High roof, cloth/fabric passenger seats, front manual air-conditioning, rear cooler and passenger A/C vents, practical passenger sliding entry and seatbelts.
Safety and braking
Nissan Dubai passenger-grade equipment lists drum brakes, ABS, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist, vehicle dynamic control (VDC), and airbags; selected safety equipment varies by the exact grade.
Suitcase calculations
Two to three 70 × 45 × 28 cm checked cases require 176–265 L and 40–60 kg at 20 kg each; add two cabin cases 55 × 35 × 23 cm for 89 L and 16 kg. Twelve large cases need 1,058 L and 240 kg, making seat/baggage trade-offs essential.
Audio and chargers
Regional passenger trim has AM/FM audio with AUX on relevant versions; individual USB sockets at all 13 seats are not part of the documented base specification.
Self-drive market price
Dubai 2026 Urvan 13-seat rental example AED 3,800/month; other public Urvan offers AED 200–320/day.

Cabin features
Three-/four-row versions have reclining or folding seat arrangements depending on trim, rear air-conditioning outlets, panoramic side glazing and sliding side doors.
Entertainment
Touchscreen/Bluetooth and USB availability depend on the 9-/11-seat UAE grade; display and charging count are shown for the allocated trim rather than promised for all Starias.

Seats and example model years
Public Dubai self-drive rentals include 2023, 2024 and 2026 V-Class examples with 6, 7 or 8 seats. Handover seats and insured driver count are specified in the vehicle rental agreement.

Driving licence — the passenger-seat threshold

Dubai RTA defines a light-vehicle passenger category up to 14 passengers excluding the driver only when the vehicle also meets the relevant unladen-weight limit; the separate light-bus licence is for buses carrying up to 26 passengers excluding the driver. Registration, weight and licence endorsement decide who may drive a particular 13-seat van. An ordinary car licence should never be assumed sufficient for every passenger minibus.

Resident: valid Emirates ID and recognised UAE licence for the exact vehicle class. Visitor: passport, entry status, eligible driving licence and any required international driving permit; RTA restricts overseas IDP use to visitors and light vehicles. Rental provider may require minimum age, driving experience and a named insured driver.

Fuel, deposits and kilometres

Self-drive rental is ordinarily vehicle-only and fuel-excluded: use the documented pickup/return fuel rule, pay Salik, parking and fines, and stay within a kilometre plan such as 250 km/day or 3,000–6,000 km/month. Insurance excess, refundable deposit and additional-driver policy must be in writing.

No-driver versus chauffeur arrangement

Self-drive places a licensed, approved renter behind the wheel. With-driver transport includes our professional driver and can be quoted with fuel supplied by us or by your company. Vehicle-only rates cannot be compared directly with a 10-hour chauffeured staff shuttle.

Baggage space — measurable examples

One checked case 70 × 45 × 28 cm = 88.2 L; at 20 kg each six cases = 529 L/120 kg and eight = 706 L/160 kg. One cabin case 55 × 35 × 23 cm = 44.3 L; four = 177 L/32 kg at 8 kg each. Eight-seat Kia Carnival documents 627 L behind row three; nine-seat Staria reference 1,303 L in its rated cargo layout; V-Class Long reference 1,030 L.

Passenger cabin — model distinctions

Carnival 8-seat 2+3+3 is a low-floor three-row MPV; Staria 9-seat has three passenger rows and a wider/taller sliding-door cabin; Urvan 13-seat high roof is 5,230 × 1,880 × 2,285 mm overall with cloth seats and rear passenger cooling; Hiace 13-seat uses commercial fabric rows; V-Class is a premium 6–8-seat cabin with adjustable seats.

Brakes, ABS and stability

Nissan Dubai 13-seat Urvan lists ABS, EBD, brake assist and VDC stability control. The Carnival family offers ABS/ESC and additional active driver aids on suitable trims. V-Class uses ABS and ESP; Toyota Hiace and Hyundai Staria features must be matched to their exact regional passenger grade rather than borrowed from another body.

Audio, Wi-Fi and USB

Carnival owner materials document USB charging and region-dependent 12.3-inch entertainment; Staria has touchscreen/Bluetooth/USB on selected trims; V-Class higher trims offer MBUX and USB-C. Commercial Hiace and Urvan can have simpler radios/auxiliary inputs. Wi-Fi and rear-seat displays are not standard on every van.

Rooftop luggage and seat removal

Do not place bags on a roof without an approved, load-rated roof rack and insurance permission; a panoramic roof or rooftop A/C is not a suitcase rack. Passenger seats cannot be removed or loaded with suitcases contrary to the approved seating and baggage restraints.

Breakdown or vehicle fault

For an operated Aseel transport contract we arrange a backup vehicle within one hour of receiving a report, with compatible passenger capacity. For a self-drive rental, the contract must specify roadside assistance, breakdown reporting, insurance excess and replacement/collection procedure before handover; one-hour physical arrival is not guaranteed.

Staff and hotel group journeys

A staff pickup route, paid guest shuttle or repeated airport group transport is a commercial passenger-transport duty, not necessarily legal under a private self-drive car hire policy. When such use requires permits or a professional driver, book our with-driver fleet instead.

Model-year and equipment matching

Example listed rental model years are 2025/2026 Hiace, Urvan, Staria and Carnival and 2023–2026 V-Class. The advertised model year is not the year of an actual Aseel vehicle. The driver, registration, exact body, working seatbelts, tyre condition, AC and booked extras form part of the handover check.

Manufacturer and UAE Driving-Licence Information

Model measurements are taken from carmakers’ published passenger-vehicle information; driver eligibility is governed by Dubai RTA licence categories. Market-only pricing examples have been used for budgeting rather than presented as confirmed vehicle availability.

07 / LICENCE-APPROVED VAN ENQUIRY

Request Model Availability and Pricing

Send your passenger and suitcase counts, expected kilometres, rental dates, model preference and driver’s UAE licence category. We can explain the passenger van options and provide the right with-driver alternative when private self-drive or company staff transport cannot be supplied on the requested terms. Request a written contract spelling out fuel, Salik, mileage, insurance, deposit and permitted use.

Enquire about licence-approved passenger van options

Tell us whether you need self-drive vehicle hire or a van with our professional driver. The team can review the requested model size, route and use case; passenger self-drive handover is provided only when the business service, driving category and insurance are explicitly approved.

Van Rental Dubai Without Driver — Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book van rental Dubai without driver?

Send the model, dates, passenger seats, kilometres and driver licence details through the enquiry form or contact page. We check whether self-drive rental and its insurance are actually offered for that class. If not, book a professional driver through our existing van fleet instead.

Does Aseel Bus Rental definitely supply a van without driver?

Self-drive is an enquiry-only category pending confirmation of the rental activity, vehicle registration, insurance cover and driver eligibility. The vans currently displayed on our main fleet pages are operated group transport services with a driver; a website enquiry does not reserve or guarantee a self-drive vehicle.

What is the daily cost of self-drive van rental in Dubai?

Public 2025–2026 market examples are AED 200–320/day for a 13-seat Urvan, around AED 250–320/day for a Hiace short-term budget, AED 275–350/day for a Carnival, AED 299–450/day for a Staria and approximately AED 451–1,320/day for a V-Class. These are market guides, not confirmed Aseel prices.

What does a Toyota Hiace self-drive rental cost monthly?

One publicly listed 2026 Toyota Hiace 13-seat passenger van is AED 3,800/month, with a stated kilometre limit. Twelve equal monthly periods total AED 45,600 before VAT, fuel, tolls or deposit-related charges.

What does a Nissan Urvan without driver cost?

Public 13-seat Urvan offers start around AED 200–320/day. Weekly examples are AED 1,150–2,106 and monthly examples AED 3,180–3,800, depending on model year and mileage; annual multiplication of the monthly range is AED 38,160–45,600.

How much is a Hyundai Staria without a driver?

2025–2026 Staria self-drive examples are AED 299–450/day, AED 4,990–7,499/month. At seven full-rate days the arithmetic is AED 2,093–3,150; check for a cheaper fixed weekly package.

How much is a Kia Carnival self-drive for one week?

Published 2025–2026 Carnival self-drive offers include AED 1,650–2,450/week, with daily prices around AED 275–350 and monthly offers around AED 4,700–5,999. These are vehicle-only rates, with fuel and Salik separate.

What is the Mercedes V-Class self-drive price in Dubai?

Recent Dubai listings range from AED 451 to AED 1,320 per day and from around AED 10,350 to AED 19,500 per month depending on 2023–2026 model year, cabin configuration and luxury options.

What is the difference between self-drive and with-driver van rental?

Self-drive is a vehicle-only rental: an approved renter supplies the licensed driver and pays fuel, tolls and agreed charges. With-driver rental provides a professional chauffeur; for example, our operated Hiace and Urvan homepage rates are AED 480–720/day or AED 6,000–9,200/month, before itinerary-specific variations.

Does self-drive van rental include fuel?

Normally no. Collect the van at an agreed fuel level, drive using your own fuel, then return at the contracted level. A separate prepaid fuel arrangement must be written into the rental agreement. Salik, parking and fines are not fuel.

Can I rent a passenger van with a company driver but without fuel?

Yes, the existing group transport service can be quoted as vehicle plus professional driver while your company pays fuel. That is not a self-drive rental. Daily duty, monthly kilometres, tolls and parking are stated in the commercial transport quotation.

Can I drive a 13-seater Hiace or Urvan on a normal UAE car licence?

Do not assume so. Dubai RTA classifies passenger vehicles using both passenger count and empty weight, and provides separate light-bus endorsements. The registration and your licence must be checked for the exact 13-seat van before keys are released.

What licence does a tourist need to rent a van without a driver?

An eligible visitor may drive an insured light vehicle using accepted home-country driving documentation or a valid foreign International Driving Permit together with the original licence, according to RTA rules. RTA does not treat a foreign visitor permit as a general right to drive a light or heavy passenger bus.

What documents does a resident need?

A valid Emirates ID, a UAE driving licence covering the exact registered class, and the rental provider’s required payment, insurance, age and driving-experience documents. A company booking may also need trade licence and authorised-driver records.

Can a self-drive van carry paying passengers or run company staff shuttles?

A vehicle hired for private use cannot automatically operate a paid or recurring passenger transport service. The transport permits, insurance cover, authorised operator and the driver’s qualifications must match the intended commercial activity. For staff pickup or hotel guest shuttles choose our chauffeur-operated transport service.

How many people fit in a Toyota Hiace 13-seater?

Toyota UAE advertises a 13-seat passenger model. Check the registration and seating plan to distinguish 13 total occupants including the driver from 13 passengers plus driver; never promise 13 paying passenger places based only on the market name.

How many seats does a Nissan Urvan have?

Nissan Dubai lists a 13-seat wide-long high-roof passenger variant, with overall size 5,230 × 1,880 × 2,285 mm. Its 3-seat cargo variant is different and must never be used as a 13-seat passenger van.

How much luggage fits in an 8-seat Kia Carnival?

Kia owner literature publishes a 627 L minimum luggage volume behind the third seat row on an 8-seat Carnival. Four large 70 × 45 × 28 cm cases use 353 L before loading gaps; another two 55 × 35 × 23 cm bags add 89 L. Actual stacking and payload must be checked.

How many bags fit in a Hyundai Staria 9-seater?

Hyundai UAE publishes a 1,303 L cargo-area figure for a 9-seat grade. Eight large 70 × 45 × 28 cm cases need approximately 706 L and weigh 160 kg at 20 kg per case. Volume alone does not guarantee stacking, sightline clearance or legal payload; the 11-seat layout has different space.

How many large suitcases should a 13-seat Hiace or Urvan group bring?

For 9–10 occupants, a practical planning example is two or three 70 × 45 × 28 cm checked cases plus two 55 × 35 × 23 cm carry-ons. Three checked and two cabin cases occupy about 353 L and weigh 76 kg at 20/8 kg per bag. Twelve checked cases need 1,058 L/240 kg and may need a larger vehicle or separate luggage.

Does a Mercedes V-Class have more luggage room than a Carnival?

The manufacturer V-Class Long reference is 1,030 L, compared with Kia Carnival 8-seat 627 L behind the third row; however the final result depends on whether the V-Class is Compact (610 L), Long (1,030 L) or Extra-long (1,410 L) and how its passenger seats are arranged.

Can I put suitcases on the roof of a self-drive van?

Not by default. A rooftop luggage load needs a manufacturer-rated compatible rack, allowable roof/axle weight and insurance approval. Roof A/C equipment, a sunroof or a raised high roof are not cargo racks. An enclosed baggage area or a larger vehicle is safer for airport luggage.

Do these vans have USB ports and entertainment systems?

A Kia Carnival manual documents front and optional third-row USB sockets and some premium trims offer 12.3-inch infotainment; Staria and V-Class have touchscreen and USB on selected grades. Nissan Urvan and Toyota Hiace passenger-commercial versions can have simpler audio. The exact number of chargers/screens must match the vehicle handed over.

Are the passenger seats leather or fabric?

Toyota Hiace and Nissan Urvan passenger-commercial models commonly use hard-wearing fabric. Carnival and V-Class premium grades can use leather or leather-style upholstery; Staria seat trim depends on grade. An eight-seat Carnival may be 2+3+3, whereas a premium V-Class often has individual adjustable passenger seats.

What braking system does the Nissan Urvan use?

Nissan Dubai’s passenger model equipment includes drum brakes, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist and vehicle dynamic control (VDC). Vehicle-specific inspection and grade confirmation remain part of the hire process.

Is electronic stability control included on every van?

Modern Nissan Urvan passenger specifications list VDC. Mercedes V-Class lists ESP, and modern Carnival safety packages include electronic stability functions. Do not treat advanced driver assistance, ABS and stability control as the same feature or assume every trim has identical electronics.

Can I book a self-drive van for six days, seven days or a year?

Market rentals are offered by day, week or month. A seven-day self-drive Staria at AED 299–450/day works out to AED 2,093–3,150 before a possible weekly discount. Twelve months of a 2026 Hiace at AED 3,800/month totals AED 45,600, although an annual lease could be separately negotiated.

Are insurance and a deposit included in the quoted price?

Some public examples include basic insurance and require a refundable deposit; others advertise no-deposit options. Damage excess, additional drivers, tyre damage, traffic fines, VAT and optional delivery may be extra. Read the actual agreement, not only the advertised day price.

Can I drive to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman or Al Ain?

Many UAE domestic self-drive policies allow inter-emirate travel within agreed mileage, but commercial guest/staff transportation and cross-border travel are separate matters. Give the planned emirates and kilometres for approval before departure.

What if the rented van breaks down?

Report the fault promptly and follow the written rental roadside-assistance procedure; do not continue driving an unsafe vehicle. For our operated passenger transport contracts we arrange a suitable backup within one hour of reporting. Self-drive replacement rights and pickup timing must be documented by the authorised rental provider.

Can I select an exact 2025 or 2026 model year?

The public self-drive market includes Toyota Hiace 2026, Nissan Urvan 2026, Hyundai Staria 2025/2026 and Kia Carnival 2025/2026 examples, plus V-Class 2023–2026. A particular model year is guaranteed only when stated in the actual confirmed handover agreement.

How do I get a quote by phone, WhatsApp, email or form?

Use our online quote form or contact page for phone, email and WhatsApp details. Provide passenger count, luggage size and number, pickup/delivery dates, driving licence category, monthly mileage, and whether you prefer self-drive or our professional driver.

What makes the final self-drive quote higher or lower?

Model and year, 7 versus 9 versus 13 seats, duration, kilometre allowance, insurance excess, refundable deposit, extra drivers, delivery, fuel, tolls, parking and VAT. A commercial driver or an airport staff shuttle is priced as a different operated transport service.

Is self-drive the best option for hotel airport shuttles?

Usually not for a repeated commercial pickup programme. A hotel or event operation should use properly permitted, insured group transportation with a professional driver. Self-drive works only where the exact vehicle, licensed driver and permitted purpose are approved.

What if I need 16–20 passenger seats?

Look at our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 16–20-seat minibus class with a licensed professional driver. A private light-vehicle licence or an eight-seat MPV rental cannot be used to drive a larger passenger bus without the relevant category.

What if no licence-approved self-drive passenger van is offered?

Choose an operated Kia Carnival, Staria, Hiace, Urvan, Mercedes V-Class or larger passenger vehicle from our existing fleet. Our transport quotation can specify the driver, route, fuel, waiting, luggage requirements and pickup schedule.
